Sarah Thomas

“I believe Every child, teen and adult is worthy of feeling safe, seen, heard, valued & feeling a sense of belonging. I love being a therapist helping humans recognize their ability to heal, thrive, restore family connection, build social skills, confidence, coping tools, tap into self- discovery and improve healthy communication skills.”

Sarah Rachel Thomas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & completed her graduate program in Social Work at Colorado State University. She has served children, teens, caregivers and families as a school social worker, school counselor and embedded school therapist. Through this experience, Sarah has supported individuals and families through trauma healing, challenging school behaviors, divorce/separation, grief & loss, incarceration, substance abuse, bullying, negative body image, internet responsibility, boundary setting, and overall family disconnect. Sarah sprinkles therapy sessions with play, art, yoga, mindfulness, music, sand tray, dollhouse, bibliotherapy, vision boards and walk and talks outside to help individuals express & process their inner worlds & cultivate a sense of empowerment & self-discovery.

As Founder of Humble Warrior Collective, Sarah is proud of how the organization has grown and continues to offer trauma conscious yoga & mindfulness for veterans, justice-involved youth, public schools, recovery centers, mental health facilities, domestic violence and human sex trafficking survivors. In her spare time, she enjoys being in the mountains with her husband and 2 teens, practicing yoga/meditation/journaling, thrift store shopping, & cuddling with her fur babies with a good book, a cup of coffee & a candle burning.
