We hope to impact as many under-resourced groups as possible.

Humble Warrior’s specially-trained instructors visit area schools, veterans centers, recovery and treatment centers, and domestic violence shelters, leading classes designed to foster a sense of community and connection. By incorporating trauma informed principles with breath work, mindfulness, meditation, gentle yoga and other forms of movement, our classes provide self-care and wellbeing support while guiding and improving self-regulation, self-knowledge and self-worth.

Yoga for Vets at VFW Post 577

Wednesdays 5:30-6:30 PM

Donation Based Class

What to expect in class:

Classes will utilize slow, mindful movements and breathing techniques to create a sense of stability and security.

You do not have to have any prior yoga experience - if you can breathe, you can practice yoga! All clothes are yoga clothes - wear whatever you are comfortable moving and stretching in. Yoga is often practiced in bare feet or socks; you may leave your shoes on if you prefer. You can practice from a chair or on a mat.
